Me

I am a ceramicist that enjoys combining nature with art. My focus has always been on nature specifically plants and insects and combining them in unique ways. Always looking for the next interesting plant or insect to turn into a design.

My Work

Functional and clean. I like to combine functional items with natural surface decorations with a unique vintage flair.

My Story

I started out with a background in graphic design and drawing & painting and in 2008 I discovered Ukrainian pysanky art on eggshells and fell in love with it. I love that it combines something so common as an eggshell with something so unique and detailed as the pysanky writings.

Flash forward to fall of 2018 when I was motivated to go back to school and start ceramics which I had always love doing but never seemed like a dream I could make happen. In December of 2018 I started on the journey of setting up a home studio for ceramics. I complete work on my backyard studio in fall 2021 and started the pursuit of ceramics full time in November 2021.

I look forward to many years of creating ceramics for everyone to enjoy and the occasionally decorated eggshell.
